Sock Story a bad story that turned Good

Here at East Court Ford Lincoln we have lots of employees who on their own take it upon themselves to do acts of kindness and help their communities! This Story is about a terrible story gone right! A week ago, one of our own Thomas Aquino a Volunteer from his Church in Scarborough had collected 450 pairs of socks and non-perishable food items for Good Shepherd helping the homeless of Toronto. He was devastated that someone would take the socks. CTV picked up the story and to surprise him a breakfast was made to raise not only the 450 socks but hopefully more. The staff who were told to keep it quiet went out and bought socks, or gave money to buy socks and over 800 pairs were donated. The story does not stop there, CTV came again and showed the clip of the story on Television and The Toronto Sun wrote an article. The Good thing to come from this break in are customers and people in the community heard about it and we are still collecting socks and non-perishable food items. We will continue to help Good Shepherd to raise awareness and help the homeless. You can drop off at East Court Ford Lincoln 4700 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt, ON M1S 3V6

Good Shepherd Thank You
